This groundbreaking ride, propels you up and down a high-speed cable track—delivering acceleration and pure exhilaration from start to finish!
Unlike traditional ziplines, The Rush doesn’t rely on gravity—so you zoom uphill backwards at rocket pace before you propel back down. For the less adventurous, opt for the Chill mode where you can really take in the surroundings and view of Christchurch.

Frequently asked questions
How long does The Rush take?
We recommend allowing 30 minutes from arrival to departure.
What should I wear?
Closed toe shoes are essential. Depending on the weather, you’ll need light breathable materials on hot days and multiple warm layers on cold days.
Can I take a camera on The Rush?
Sure, as long as it’s tethered to you in some way so you can’t drop it. We have specificlly designed phone lanyards available for purchase at Guest Servces.
Is it safe?
Safety is our top priority. We are Amusement Device Certified and operate under permit of the Christchurch City Council. We undertake daily, monthly and annual inspections of our lines and equipment. Our guides are professionally trained and we never compromise on your safety.
Are there any restrictions?
Yes unfortunately there are. You need to weigh between 27kgs (60lbs) and 125kgs (275lbs) and be a minimum of 100cm (3.2ft) to 198cm (6’5″) tall. Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or older. If you are pregnant, suffer from any heart condition, epilepsy or have any broken, fractured or recently dislocated bones or head or back injury, will not be allowed to ride. Please talk to one of our guides if you have any questions about suitability.
What happens if the park is closed because of bad weather on my booked day?
Guest services will personally contact you. You can reschedule free of charge or get a full refund.
When do I pay?
Payment is taken at the time of booking.
Can I cancel my booking free of charge?
Yes you can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours of your scheduled booking. If less than 24 hours of your scheduled booking your booking is non-refundable, but you can move your booking for a $25 per person fee. Within 2 hours of your scheduled booking, no refunds and rebook will be given.
Can I change my booking time/date?
Of course. You can change your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled booking. Changes made within 24 hours will incur a $25 change fee per person.

Yes and we do!
